Volumisation

Volumisation treatments involve the administration of a prescription-only injectable product to areas of the face where volume changes have occurred.

These procedures are classified as higher-risk non-surgical cosmetic treatments and require a comprehensive consultation prior to treatment. During consultation, medical history, suitability, potential risks, expected outcomes, and alternative options will be discussed in detail.

Volumisation may be considered for areas such as the cheeks, lips, jawline, or under-eye region, depending on individual assessment. The product used is typically hyaluronic acid-based; however, suitability varies between individuals.

Results vary and are not permanent. The duration of effect differs depending on the product used, treatment area, and individual factors.

Common side effects may include swelling, bruising, tenderness, redness, and temporary asymmetry. More serious complications, although uncommon, can occur and will be discussed prior to treatment.

All cosmetic medical procedures carry risks and are only performed following an appropriate consultation to determine clinical suitability.
