Skin Needling

Skin needling, also referred to as microneedling, is a procedure that involves the use of fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin.

The treatment is designed to stimulate the skin’s natural repair response. It may be considered for concerns such as uneven skin texture or the appearance of certain types of scarring, depending on individual assessment.

During consultation, a full skin assessment will be conducted to determine suitability and discuss potential benefits, limitations, risks, and alternative treatment options.

Common short-term side effects may include redness, swelling, sensitivity, or mild discomfort following the procedure. Downtime and recovery vary between individuals.

Results differ from person to person and typically require a series of treatments to achieve gradual changes. All procedures carry risks and are only performed following appropriate clinical assessment.
